I hail from humble beginnings, having completed my early education at Kewzing Senior Secondary School, a government institution. Later, I continued my academic journey at Samdong Senior Secondary School in East Sikkim, where I completed my schooling from classes 9 to 12.
Driven by a passion for social justice and a desire to uplift the marginalized in our society, I ventured into the realm of politics. Witnessing the plight of the impoverished in our constituency, who perennially suffer due to the mismanagement and corruption of past leaders, I felt compelled to take action.
Now, for the first time, I stand as a grassroots level candidate from Barfung. In Barfung, my fellow citizens grapple with a myriad of pressing issues: inadequate access to clean drinking water, dilapidated roads, shortcomings in the education system, a dysfunctional drainage system in Ravangla Bazar, lack of adequate sanitation facilities, and an imbalance in community development. The government's resources rarely reach the doorsteps of the underprivileged families, exacerbating their struggles.
It is with a sense of duty and commitment that I have aligned myself with the Citizen Action Party and have thrown my hat into the ring as a candidate. I pledge to the people of Barfung that if entrusted with their mandate, I will tirelessly work towards addressing these pressing concerns.
My promise is not merely a rhetoric; it is a commitment to bringing tangible improvements to the lives of our constituents. Together, we can overcome these challenges and build a brighter future for Barfung.
