The Party shall have District Executive Council (DEC) in every district. It shall be headed by its President and shall be elected among the LC members of concerned district.

**Member of DEC:**

The DEC shall be consisting of Thirty-One (31) members
out of which 30% will be reserved for women.

**Power and Functions of DEC:**

Following shall be the functions of the DEC:

-  The DEC shall execute party works in the district.
-  The DEC shall formulate district-specific aims and objectives to strengthen the party in the district.
- The DEC shall provide guidance to ACEC.
- The DEC shall maintain books of accounts in the district. v. The DEC shall hold quarterly review meeting. 
- The DEC shall prepare "Annual Activity Calendar" at the beginning of every year which must be approved by the President/CEC.
- The DEC shall prepare "Annual Report" and submit it to the CEC before the end of financial year.
- The DEC shall constitute ACEC on consultation with the CEC.
- The DEC shall conduct membership drive in the district.

**Terms of DEC:**

The DEC committee shall hold office for the period of three years.

**Dissolution of DEC:**

The DEC can be dissolved by the party President/ CWC.
